EMG Elettromeccanica srl began in 1973 as a small, specialist company based on the experience of its founder in the field of transformers. The care taken in manufacturing the products and the emphasis on technological progress made the company a reference point for production of high quality transformers and inductors.

In the 1990s, the EMG Elettromeccanica brand became synonymous with quality all over Italy thanks to their particular attention to the design and testing of the equipment they produced. To confirm this, suffice it to say that EMG was among the first in Italy to attain ISO 9001-1995 certification.

The start of the new millennium hailed a broadening of the market, first to Europe and then to extra-European countries. The result has been a new expansion of the production facilities and in the management side of the business.
